Garden BioBlitz 2021

For our part of BANES Climate and Biodiversity Festival, we at WildAboutBath have set ourselves the challenge of having a Garden Bioblitz. We aim to find and record as many species as possible to show just how important gardens are to biodiversity.

We will be using a moth trap, pond dipping, small mammal traps, identifying bird song, reptiles, amphibians, insects, and plants.  You don’t need to be an expert to join us – we have asked some keen local naturalists to help with identification – but we hope it will be fun to see what we discover and come and meet the team.

Date: Saturday 25 September 9:30 to 12:30

Scheduled Activities Include:

          9:30 Moth Trapping Results

        10:30 Coffee and Cake

        11:00 Pond Dipping

Location: In a garden in Combe Down, numbers have to be limited as this is in a private garden.

Booking: This is open to residents of Combe Down and the local area. If you would like to come please email info@wildaboutbath.org
