Local Gardens for Wildlife: Talk

A heartfelt thank you to all who made it to our Gardens for Wildlife talk on Tuesday, 29th March. It was a fantastic turn out! Ann delivered a really interesting talk, and you all put some fabulous questions to the panel afterwards. Thanks of course must also be given to the super refreshments team in the kitchen, the church for providing the perfect venue, and the team for helping us set up microphones.

Unfortunately, because of COVID, many people were sadly unable to make it. Luckily, we were able to record the talk for us to enjoy again and again! Panel member Carol Stone had brought some fabulous hand outs for us to take home: Just One Thing and The Rules – Encouraging Pollinators. If you have any questions for the panel that weren’t covered, please feel free to contact us or ask on the Facebook group.

You can also find more information on the Gardening for Wildlife Scheme here, and several posts throughout our journal about other ways you can get involved. Don’t forget to sign up for our newsletter (scroll to the bottom of the page). This is sent out no more than once a month and will keep you updated with website posts, news and upcoming events. We promise not to update too often, but you may have to add us to your address book to prevent updates going to your spam box.
