Talk: British Owls and Birds of Prey

Detail
Naomi Johns, director of West of England Falconry, in Newton St Loe, will give a talk on British Owls and Birds of Prey. Come and learn about these wonderful birds and what we can do for the environment and the ecosystem that they live in. See these birds up-close and hear about the conservation, rehabilitation and educational work that this local award winning charity does.
This is a free event, but donations can be made on the day to the most important work of the charity which includes rescue and rehabilitation of wild birds of prey in the Bath area, working alongisde local farmers to improve farmland biodiversity, and installing and monitoring nest boxes in the area.
Please dress in very warm clothing as this event takes place outdoors and under covered areas of the centre. There is a tea/coffee machine.
Please follow the signs in the village to guide you to the centre’s car park.
Places are extremely limited for this event, so please reserve your space via Eventbrite early. Please ensure you reserve one ticket per person, as due to health and safety rules for the venue relating to bird flu we cannot allow on-the-day extra attendees on this occasion. Please cancel your ticket if you can no longer attend so someone on the waiting list can have the opportunity!
