Herons and Peregrines Walk

Detail
We will first walk a short distance to look at the heronry in the trees above the Honda dealership at the bottom of Ralph Allen Drive. Last year there were nine active nests. By early March, the Grey Herons should be rebuilding their nests and displaying. Visibility should be good as there won’t be leaves on the trees. After looking at the herons, we’ll walk towards the city to see if the Peregrines on the catholic church are at the nest. They might be displaying at this time of year, prior to breeding.
We will probably walk for around 1 mile in total, and we will need to cross some roads.
