Photography Competition 2026

The brief for 2026 is:

The Cycle of Life

From the first unfurling leaf to the final fall of autumn’s gold, nature is a constant dance of beginnings, transformations and endings. This competition invites you to explore the profound beauty and complexity of The Cycle of Life, capturing moments that reflect birth, growth, new life, death, decay and renewal in the natural world.

What We’re Looking For:
We welcome submissions that interpret the theme in diverse and imaginative ways. Whether it’s the emergence of spring buds, the quiet dignity of a fallen tree, the lifecycle of insects or the seasonal rhythms of wildlife, your photo should tell a story of nature’s perpetual motion.

Important notes:

• Entries are to be of local wild plants, fungi, or animals (please no people in photographs)
• You can enter 3 photos per person
• Photos are to be 8″ x 10″ in size
• Please ensure you have completed the entry form and submit one form for each entry
• Please don’t mount your own photos

Digital Entry:

Wild About Bath will print your entry for display and judging.

Please note: if you are submitting a digital copy, the closing date for entries is no later than 6pm on 3rd September 2026

Physical Entry:

You may prefer to print your photo yourself at home or printed professionally (e.g. at Boots or Jessops).  If you would like to do this, please print and complete the form below.

Photos and entry forms should be delivered to the Church Rooms, 2A Avenue Place, BA2 5EE no later than the evening of 3rd September 2026

Larger envelopes can be handed into the church office (opening hours 9:30 to 12:30) or smaller envelopes posted through the letterbox.
